Job Summary
- DSNY is seeking a highly skilled Senior React / .NET Developer to support the development, modernization, deployment, and maintenance of web applications. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in React.js, TypeScript, .NET Core, Web APIs, microservices, SQL databases, responsive web design, and application deployment.
- The resource will be responsible for developing modern user interfaces, building and consuming APIs, working with .NET Core microservices, implementing secure authentication mechanisms, and modernizing legacy JavaScript applications.
Required Qualifications
• Experience with web application development using JavaScript frameworks such as React JS and Type Script.
• 6+ years of experience with Front End/User Interface (“UI”) Web Application Development.
• 6+ years of experience with React JS.
• 4+ years of experience with SQL (SQL Server, Oracle, and SYBase) or Mongo.
• 4+ years of experience in creating and consuming Web API in .NET.
• 4+ years of experience in deploying applications.
• Ability to plan and prioritize work and meet project deadlines.
• Self-motivated and works well with other groups.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of and experience with Responsive Web Design.
• Experience with .net microservices consuming JSON and xml responses.
• Experience with implementing token-based security mechanisms.
• Experience with SQL server and other relational databases.
• Experience in migrating and upgrading applications from older JavaScript implementations to newer versions.
• Experience in deploying microservices and maintaining source code repositories of .net core and related technologies.
