We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support a large-scale system modernization and enhancement initiative within a healthcare-focused environment. This role will work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors to gather requirements, analyze data, and support the delivery of application improvements in a SAFe Agile environment. The ideal candidate has strong experience translating business needs into technical solutions and supporting complex enterprise systems.

Job Responsibilities
- Analyze business systems and user needs to identify opportunities for process and technology improvements
- Gather, document, and manage business and technical requirements for application enhancements
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams to ensure clear communication and alignment
- Support system modernization and enhancement initiatives for enterprise applications
- Analyze data to identify trends, insights, and operational improvements
- Document business processes, workflows, and functional specifications
- Assist with business process reengineering and solution evaluation
- Develop solution options, perform risk analysis, and support cost/benefit assessments
- Collaborate with Agile/SAFe teams to support delivery of new features and system improvements
- Work with internal teams and external vendors to support project and product oversight
qualifications:
Qualifications
- 8+ years of Business Analyst experience supporting enterprise applications or systems
- Proven experience gathering, documenting, and managing business and technical requirements
- Strong experience analyzing business systems, workflows, and user needs
- Experience serving as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams
- Strong data analysis skills with the ability to interpret and evaluate raw data
- Experience documenting business processes, functional specifications, and workflows
- Experience working in Agile environments (SAFe experience preferred)
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
Preferred
- Experience with healthcare, Medicaid, or government systems
- Familiarity with Medicaid programs or healthcare payer environments
- Experience supporting large system modernization initiatives
- PMP or other project-related certifications a plus
