responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and evolve Cassandra / DataStax schemas, tables, indexes, and ETL solutions for scalability and resilience
- Partner closely with application and architecture teams to guide data modeling and query design
- Set standards for performance, capacity planning, and best practices across the platform
- Proactively monitor workloads and drive design improvements before issues reach production
- Contribute to automation and platform modernization using Ansible, and shell scripting
qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related technical field.
7+ years of dedicated professional experience managing and optimizing NoSQL database platforms.
Extensive, hands-on administrative and architectural expertise with Apache Cassandra and/or DataStax.
Profound understanding of distributed systems architecture and advanced performance tuning methodologies.
Proven experience automating routine database operations and deployments using Ansible and shell scripting.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong sense of ownership over production system health.
