Job Title: IS Technician - Helpdesk/Field Support

Location: Cooper City, FL 33330
*mileage reimbursement at 72 cents per mile*
- Location: We need someone residing in Broward & Dade County, from Deerfield to Miami. (Please no resumes outside of these counties)
- They must have a reliable vehicle that can hold a printer and few other parts, nothing excessive. (a two-seater will NOT work)
- They could service client stores anywhere between Broward County and Dade County (Deerfield, FL to Miami, FL)
Duties: The primary responsibilities for this Field Service Technician include providing great customer service while installing, diagnosing, and solving retail equipment failures within service level agreements at client locations in a service geography. This equipment includes POS (point of sale) registers, self-checkout registers, thermal printers, laser printers, scanners, servers, PCs, thin clients, phone systems, RF, networking, pharmacy, minute clinic, photo, and other related computer peripherals. This Field Service Technician position involves driving between client locations in a large geography to service and install hardware, assisting other neighboring areas with workload, working normal day shift, and assisting on-call for weekday evenings onsite high severity service calls.
Experience:
- 1-3 Years of previous hands-on technical knowledge and experience.
- Strong Customer Service Skills
- Valid driver s license with no major violations.
- Ability to pass a substance/drug test and background test
- Ability to drive between client locations over a large geography
- Available to work some nights.
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware
- Reside within the territory supported. Ability to lift printers, servers, equipment to 75 pounds, and occasionally work on a ladder.
