Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dynamic and innovative Entry Level Structural Engineer for full-time employment. The ideal candidate will be a recent college graduate, upcoming spring semester graduate, or an engineer with up to a few years of experience, who wishes to increase their knowledge of commercial, institutional, and industrial structures, and work in a professional fast-paced environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Work semi-independently
- Possess basic level computer skills necessary for daily activities including email, word processing, spreadsheets, graphics, and a working knowledge of computer-aided drafting
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES- Able to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Possess strong critical thinking, organizational, and analytical abilities
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel preferred
- Positive contributor to overall office and department goals, culture, and morale
QualificationsEDUCATION/EXPERIENCERequirements Include:- A bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering, or a Civil or Architectural Engineering degree with an emphasis on structures
- Coursework or experience in concrete and steel design
- Registration as an E.I.T.
Additional Education and Experience Preferred (not required) Include: - A master's degree in Structural Engineering, or a Civil or Architectural Engineering degree with an emphasis on structures
- 1-3 years professional work experience
- Experience with AutoCAD and/or Revit
- Experience with structural analysis software
- Experience with masonry and/or timber design
