Lead AI/ML Engineer - REMOTE

Position: Lead AI/ML Engineer
Contract - Full Time 

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Lead AI/ML Engineer with strong hands-on and leadership experience to drive enterprise-scale AI initiatives. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in GenAI, Agentic AI, RAG frameworks, Vector Databases, and real-world AI use cases such as recommendation systems, claims processing, and metadata extraction. This role combines technical leadership, AI governance, and hands-on MLOps execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end delivery of complex AI/ML and GenAI projects

• Own technical architecture, backlog planning, and stakeholder communication

• Guide teams through AI governance and AIRB review processes

• Mentor senior AI/ML engineers and data scientists

• Implement and manage MLOps pipelines, CI/CD, model versioning, and monitoring

• Ensure scalable, secure, and production-ready AI solutions

Required Skills & Experience:

• 10–15 years in AI/ML with 4–5 years in technical leadership

• Strong experience with GenAI, RAG, Agentic systems, Vector DBs

• End-to-end ML lifecycle & hands-on MLOps (CI/CD, Git, DVC, IaC)

• Python, PyTorch/TensorFlow, scikit-learn

• Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform

• Experience with AI governance / ethics reviews

Preferred:

• Master’s or PhD in a quantitative field

• Healthcare or regulated industry experience

• Production experience with LLM-based systems
