Software Engineer

Location: Greenwood Village, Colorado (Hybrid)

Role Overview

This position supports a team focused on an API platform, encompassing billing, API monetization, access patterns, and user experience. The role is primarily centered on development, with a secondary focus on DevOps. The ideal candidate will be an autonomous, proactive communicator who can contribute to development projects and participate in exploration and R&D activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Support full-stack development efforts using TypeScript and Python for backend services and APIs.
• Assist in REST API development and integration work as needed.
• Manage and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure, including compute, storage, networking, and serverless services.
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Automate deployment processes, infrastructure provisioning, and system configurations.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions for reliability and scalability.
• Collaborate with development teams to establish DevOps best practices and tooling standards.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) and automation scripts.
• Implement and manage containerization (Docker) and orchestration solutions (Kubernetes).
• Participate in architecture and infrastructure design reviews.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience, with flexibility for 4+ years if skills align. Experience should be at a Software Engineer III level.
• Strong TypeScript and REST API development experience.
• Familiarity with AWS services and DevOps capabilities, including CI/CD and pipeline management.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and deploying applications as Kubernetes containers (AWS EKS).
• Must be an autonomous, proactive, and strong communicator.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Python is beneficial.
• Experience with Playwright or similar testing automation frameworks is helpful.
