Enterprise CISO/Chief Information Security Officer

A rapidly growing enterprise FinTech company is looking for a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to lead cybersecurity strategy across the organization and its portfolio of subsidiaries.
This enterprise organization operates across multiple industries and relies on a complex technology ecosystem including cloud infrastructure, enterprise applications, hybrid networks, and modern security platforms. This is a full-time executive leadership opportunity responsible for shaping and executing the cybersecurity vision that protects the parent company and its operating companies while enabling continued growth and innovation.

This role is an opportunity to build and influence enterprise security at scale. The organization is investing heavily in security leadership to standardize security practices across subsidiaries while maintaining flexibility for each business unit. They are looking for a strategic leader who can balance executive-level governance with hands-on security insight, partner with business leaders, and mentor security teams across the enterprise.
This role is remote with some travel.
Required Skills & Experience
10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or IT risk leadership
Experience serving as a CISO, Deputy CISO, or senior security leader in an enterprise environment
Strong background in security governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, etc.)
Experience overseeing security across multi-business-unit or multi-entity organizations
Knowledge of cloud security (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) and hybrid infrastructure environments
Experience managing incident response, threat management, and enterprise security operations
Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills
Desired Skills & Experience
Experience integrating security programs after acquisitions or across subsidiaries
Background working in private equity-backed or multi-portfolio organizations
Experience building or scaling enterprise security teams
Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA
Experience with Zero Trust architectures and modern identity security programs
Strong understanding of regulatory and audit environments
