Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Data Infrastructure / Database Platform Engineer with hands-on experience in AWS RDS administration, Databricks platform management, database provisioning, and cloud infrastructure automation.
Key Responsibilities
Provision, configure, and manage AWS RDS database instances.
Handle database patching, upgrades, backups, restores, and performance monitoring.
Administer Databricks workspaces, clusters, compute resources, and access controls.
Manage database environments across Development, QA, and Production.
Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
Manage AWS services including IAM, VPC, Security Groups, KMS, and CloudWatch.
Troubleshoot production issues, monitor availability, and support scaling and disaster recovery.
Required Skills
Hands-on AWS RDS provisioning and database administration.
Databricks workspace and platform administration.
Database infrastructure and environment management.
Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
AWS cloud infrastructure, security, and networking.
Production support, monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance management.
Nice to Have
Python / Shell scripting.
CI/CD and infrastructure automation.
Experience with enterprise data platforms and production environments.
