Summary

Mechanical Graduate Engineer:

Halff is seeking New Graduates who will graduate in December 2026 or May 2027 for a Mechanical Engineer supporting our MEP team. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience with HVAC air and hydronic concepts and must be capable of performing routine calculations, equipment layout, basic equipment under supervision of senior staff.

What you will do:
  • Basic design and layout of HVAC air and hydronic systems
  • Build strong working relationships with both clients and internal contacts with other Halff offices
  • Collaborate effectively with other engineers, architects, and project stakeholders including owners

What you will need:
  • Bachelor or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or Architecture/Engineering
  • Working knowledge of IMC and ASHRAE 90.1
  • Three + years of HVAC and energy modeling
  • Experience in Trane Trace 700 or Carrier HAP
  • Revit (BIM) and AutoCAD production experience
  • Ability to obtain the Professional Engineering (PE) license is a plus
