CDS Systems Architect

Location: Linthicum Heights, Maryland (Onsite)

Clearance: Secret Clearance

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Cross Domain Solutions (CDS) Integration Lead to support a strategic RF Test Standardization initiative. This role is focused on transforming how classified RF test data moves throughout the organization. The selected individual will be a technical leader and systems integrator, responsible for expanding an existing CDS capability into a scalable, sector-wide platform that supports secure digital data exchange across multiple secure environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the execution of RF Test Standardization and CDS expansion initiatives across multiple programs and secure environments.
  • Function as a technical resource supporting multiple networks and program areas simultaneously.
  • Assess existing environments, identify integration requirements, and develop implementation strategies.
  • Drive projects from discovery and requirements gathering through deployment and operational transition.
  • Establish workstreams, priorities, dependencies, milestones, and technical recommendations.
  • Expand and mature existing Cross Domain Solution capabilities across a broader organizational footprint.
  • Design and implement secure methods for transferring data between disparate networks and classification levels.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, cybersecurity, engineering, and program teams to drive adoption of standardized solutions.


Required Qualifications
  • Must be willing and able to obtain a DOD Secret clearance and SAP access prior to supporting the project
  • Experience working within secure environments supporting mission-critical systems.
  • Understanding of network infrastructure, system interconnections, and cross-domain environments.
  • Experience administering and troubleshooting Linux systems.
  • Experience supporting Windows Server environments.
  • Background in systems integration, infrastructure deployment, or enterprise modernization efforts.
  • Experience evaluating technical requirements and translating them into executable implementation plans.
  • Ability to work independently across multiple stakeholders and program areas.
  • Communication and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Active DOD Secret Clearance
  • Experience with Cross Domain Solutions (CDS) technologies and architectures.
  • Experience supporting RF test, engineering, manufacturing, laboratory, or defense-related environments.
  • Familiarity with special access programs and secure data-transfer processes.
  • Cisco networking experience.
  • Experience supporting enterprise data center initiatives.
  • Background in systems architecture, enterprise infrastructure, or technical consulting.
  • Experience conducting technical assessments, gap analyses, and modernization roadmaps.
  • Understanding of digital thread initiatives, manufacturing data flows, or engineering lifecycle management environments.
  • Experience supporting large-scale organizational transformation programs.
