  • Write and execute test scripts to validate database loads, data transformations, and downstream data accuracy.
  • Query databases using SQL to perform data analysis, validation, reconciliation, and issue investigation.
  • Support defect identification, documentation, escalation, and resolution related to data quality, data movement, and system processing.
  • Document current and future-state business processes as needed.
  • Support testing activities, including functional testing, data validation, regression testing, and automation support using tools such as Selenium.
  • Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment while maintaining strong attention to detail.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Strong knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle.
  • Proven experience gathering and documenting business, database, and ETL requirements.
  • Ability to create source-to-target mappings and define transformation rules.
  • Strong SQL skills for querying, analyzing, and validating data.
  • Experience creating and executing test scripts for database, ETL, or data integration projects.
  • Ability to document business processes, workflows, data flows, and functional specifications.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with both business and technical teams.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Experience with Selenium or similar test automation tools is desired.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field preferred.
  • Professional certifications are a plus.
  • 15+ years of software development, data analysis, database, ETL, or related project experience.
  • Prior experience supporting projects of similar scope and complexity is strongly preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working on enterprise data warehouse, data migration, data integration, or application modernization projects.
  • Familiarity with ETL tools, relational databases, reporting platforms, and QA/test management processes.
