IT Infrastructure Analyst/Project Manager - Long Term Project - Sacramento, CA
Title: IT Infrastructure Analyst/Project Manager
Location: Sacramento, CA - Onsite
Duration: Long Term Project - 6-12 plus months (possible direct hire)
Compensation: $58.00 - $65.00/hr.

Responsible for:
- Acts as the project manager over large projects that are highly complex; develops and monitors project budgets and resources; interfaces with clients to define project scope and review project activities, recommendations and outcomes; coordinates the use of project resources based on project requirements; designs and implements project testing and quality assurance processes.
- Participate in projects related to responsibilities; represent department as technical project lead.
- Act as liaison between vendors, technical support and departments to resolve complex security system problems. Coordinate and implement corrective measures.
- Analyze, determine problems, and coordinate Server upgrades, patching, OS upgrades, new builds, and hardware purchases.
- Maintenance and support of physical and virtual servers.
- Integrate complex systems for inter-operability over multiple platforms and technologies.
- Draw and interpret schematic diagrams of networked systems.
- Insure adequate inventories of equipment, materials, parts and supplies related to secure building access and surveillance equipment required for institutional security.
- Insure adequate backup, restoration and maintenance of Microsoft Windows servers and Hyper V environment.
Required Knowledge’s, Skills & Abilities
- Departmental security policies, techniques and procedures
- Principles and practices of technical problem solving.
- Logical and physical network design
- Methods of long term technology assessment and deployment.
- Principles, practices and techniques of providing customer service
- Principles and practices of producing effective project and technical documentation
- Computer and Server system configurations
- Design, installation and maintenance of enterprise, network, telephony, radio, or information security systems
- Design, installation and maintenance of desktop computer systems and edge peripherals
- Operating system structure, operations, utilities and computer systems configurations
- Network documentation, configuration, maintenance and diagnostic procedures and techniques
- Restart and recovery concepts.
- Integration of systems.
Other:
- Must be able to pass a stringent criminal background check (livescan) before starting work.
- In office support schedule Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
