Summary

We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Data Integration Analyst / Developer to develop, maintain, test, and troubleshoot data integration solutions supporting healthcare and public health systems.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Python, SAS, R, SQL, database querying, automated data pipelines, dashboard development, and healthcare data interoperability.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, test, maintain, and troubleshoot scripts using Python, SAS, R, or similar programming languages.

  • Design and implement system integrations, automated workflows, dashboards, and data pipelines.

  • Work with structured and semi-structured healthcare, public health, and complex administrative datasets.

  • Develop SQL queries and work with relational databases for data extraction, analysis, and reporting.

  • Translate business and program requirements into technical specifications and solutions.

  • Test, validate, and troubleshoot automated data integration processes.

  • Document code, technical specifications, workflows, and operational procedures.

  • Collaborate with technical and nontechnical teams to improve data quality, interoperability, and operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience with Python, SAS, R, or other programming languages.

  • Strong SQL and relational database knowledge.

  • Experience with ETL processes, automated data pipelines, data linkage, and data matching.

  • Experience developing dashboards, reports, and automation solutions.

  • Knowledge of healthcare data systems, EHR, Electronic Case Reporting (eCR/eICR), or Health Information Exchange (HIE).

  • Understanding of healthcare interoperability standards such as HL7, XML, FHIR, and SNOMED CT.

  • Experience with data integration testing, validation, and technical documentation.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Experience:

  • Public health surveillance systems and healthcare registries.

  • Electronic Health Records (EHR) and public health reporting systems.

  • HL7 / FHIR integration and healthcare data exchange.

  • Healthcare ETL development and automated data processing.
