Job Description:

Requirement Gathering & Analysis

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, data teams, and engineering teams to gather, document, and analyze business and technical requirements.
• Translate business needs into scalable cloud architecture and data platform solutions on Azure.

Azure Cloud Architecture

• Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available cloud solutions using Azure services.
• Define cloud architecture standards, best practices, and governance for Azure environments.
• Architect solutions leveraging Azure services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Azure Storage, Azure SQL, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Functions, and Azure Virtual Networks.

Data Platform & Databricks Implementation

• Design and implement modern data platforms using Azure Databricks for large-scale data processing and analytics.
• Build data pipelines, ETL/ELT frameworks, and data integration solutions using Azure Data Factory and Databricks.
• Optimize data workloads for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.

Solution Design & Implementation

• Develop end-to-end cloud and data architecture aligned with business objectives and enterprise standards.
• Work closely with engineering teams to implement Azure-based solutions and ensure integration with existing enterprise systems.
• Ensure architecture adheres to security, compliance, and governance standards.

Testing, Optimization & Performance

• Conduct architecture reviews, performance tuning, and optimization of Azure workloads.
• Ensure scalability, fault tolerance, and high availability of the cloud and data platforms.
• Support validation, testing, and production readiness activities.

Documentation & Governance

• Maintain architecture documentation, solution designs, and implementation standards.
• Ensure adherence to enterprise security policies, compliance requirements, and cloud governance frameworks.

Collaboration & Leadership

• Work closely with architects, developers, data engineers, and business stakeholders to drive cloud adoption.
• Provide technical guidance and best practices for Azure cloud architecture and data engineering initiatives.
