Role: Programmer Analyst 6
Location: Lansing, MI (Hybrid Onsite Monday & Tuesday)
Duration: 03/16/2026 09/30/2026 (1,144 hours)

Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain enterprise applications using Java/J2EE technologies
Build and enhance applications using Spring MVC, Spring Boot, and Hibernate
Develop RESTful APIs using Spring Web MVC
Implement design patterns such as DAO, Singleton, Front Controller, and Service Locator
Work on UI technologies including Angular, React, JavaScript, HTML5, and jQuery
Develop database objects including stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views
Troubleshoot application and database issues using SQL and PL/SQL
Build and maintain unit tests using JUnit and Spring Boot
Participate in full SDLC including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile development environments
Provide technical guidance and leadership to development team members

Exposure to AWS or Azure cloud platforms
Experience using AI tools for code generation, refactoring, and documentation
Required Experience
10+ years of Java development
10+ years working with Java IDEs such as Eclipse or STS
8+ years using Spring / Spring Boot frameworks
8+ years using Hibernate / JPA
8+ years using Struts framework
10+ years SQL / PL-SQL programming
5+ years with Angular or React frameworks
5+ years using JBoss Enterprise SOA
5+ years working in Agile development environments
Experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines is a plus
