Overview

We are seeking an experienced Embedded Engineer with strong expertise in Bluetooth technologies and embedded software development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and optimizing firmware and embedded solutions for Bluetooth-enabled products and IoT devices. This role requires hands-on experience with Bluetooth Classic, Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), wireless communication protocols, RTOS, and embedded C/C++ programming.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain embedded firmware for Bluetooth-enabled products.
• Implement and optimize Bluetooth Classic and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) protocols.
• Develop device drivers, middleware, and application-layer software for embedded systems.
• Integrate Bluetooth modules/chipsets from vendors such as Nordic, Qualcomm, Silicon Labs, TI, or Cypress/Infineon.
• Debug and troubleshoot wireless communication issues using protocol analyzers and debugging tools.
• Collaborate with hardware, firmware, validation, and product teams throughout the product lifecycle.
• Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and system-level validation.
• Optimize firmware for performance, memory utilization, power consumption, and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews and follow software development best practices.
• Support certification activities including Bluetooth SIG compliance and regulatory testing.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Computer Engineering, Embedded Systems, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in Embedded Software/Firmware Development.
• Strong programming skills in C and C++.
• Hands-on experience with Bluetooth Classic and/or Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE).
• Experience working with microcontrollers such as ARM Cortex-M, STM32, NXP, ESP32, Nordic nRF52/nRF53, or TI CC26xx.
• Experience with RTOS environments such as FreeRTOS, Zephyr, ThreadX, or Embedded Linux.
• Knowledge of UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, USB, and GPIO interfaces.
• Experience with debugging tools such as JTAG, logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, and protocol analyzers.
• Familiarity with software version control systems such as Git.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Bluetooth Mesh, Audio, A2DP, HFP, AVRCP, GATT, GAP, or custom BLE profiles.
• Knowledge of IoT protocols such as MQTT, Matter, Zigbee, Thread, or Wi-Fi.
• Experience with Nordic SDK, Zephyr RTOS, BlueZ, or Bluetooth stacks from major chipset vendors.
• Understanding of low-power design and battery-operated devices.
• Experience developing consumer electronics, medical devices, automotive systems, wearables, or industrial IoT products.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
