Role Summary

Lead the design, development, commissioning, and launch of automated manufacturing test systems supporting high-volume production. Work closely with internal engineering teams and external equipment suppliers to ensure robust, scalable, and efficient test solutions.

Mandatory Skills & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering

• 3–5 years of experience developing automated test equipment for manufacturing

• Proven experience launching automated test systems on high-volume production lines

• Strong knowledge of electrical and electronic circuits, cables, connectors, and components

• Experience designing electrical schematics (AutoCAD, EPLAN, or equivalent)

• Hands-on experience with National Instruments platforms (PXI, cDAQ, cRIO)

• Expertise in test software development, using one or more of:

  • NI LabVIEW

  • NI TestStand / VeriStand

  • Python

  • MATLAB

• Experience with automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Automotive Ethernet)

• Ability to use electrical test equipment (power supplies, multimeters, oscilloscopes, analyzers)

• Experience reviewing and approving test specifications, test sequences, and failure modes

• Ability to commission, validate, and launch test systems in manufacturing environments

• Strong communication and coordination skills with cross-functional teams and suppliers
