AutoRABIT DevOps Engineer
Position Overview
Clientis seeking an experienced Salesforce DevOps Engineer with strong hands-on experience in AutoRABIT ARM and Salesforce CI/CD. The engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting automated Salesforce deployment pipelines across Development, QA, UAT, and Production environments.
The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of AutoRABIT, Salesforce metadata deployment, Git, Salesforce DX (SFDX), CI/CD, release management, deployment automation, and Salesforce security/governance. Experience working in financial-services environments with strict change management and release controls is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, configure, and maintain AutoRABIT ARM CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce deployments.
* Manage Salesforce deployments across Dev, Integration, QA, UAT, and Production environments.
* Configure AutoRABIT integration with Git/GitHub/Bitbucket repositories and Salesforce environments.
* Create and manage AutoRABIT CI jobs, deployment jobs, release labels, deployment packages, and validation processes.
* Automate Salesforce metadata deployments using AutoRABIT and Salesforce DX/SFDX.
* Manage Salesforce metadata including:
* Apex Classes and Triggers
* Lightning Web Components (LWC)
* Flows
* Custom Objects and Fields
* Permission Sets and Profiles
* Validation Rules
* Record Types
* Custom Metadata
* Reports and Dashboards
* Experience Cloud components
* Perform source-to-target metadata comparison and identify deployment dependencies.
* Implement pre-validation, automated testing, quality gates, and deployment approvals.
* Execute Salesforce Production validations and coordinate approved production releases.
* Troubleshoot failed deployments, Apex test failures, metadata conflicts, dependency issues, and environment inconsistencies.
* Manage Git branching, merging, tagging, pull requests, and release branches.
* Support Salesforce release management and change control processes.
* Maintain deployment documentation, release notes, deployment checklists, and rollback procedures.
* Coordinate with Salesforce developers, architects, QA teams, business analysts, and release managers.
* Support emergency/hotfix deployments while maintaining appropriate change-management controls.
* Monitor deployment pipelines and continuously improve release automation and deployment reliability.
* Ensure Salesforce deployments comply with enterprise security, audit, and governance requirements.
Required Skills
* 5+ years of Salesforce DevOps / Release Management experience
* 2+ years of hands-on AutoRABIT ARM experience
* Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce CI/CD
* Experience with AutoRABIT deployment pipelines and release management
* Strong knowledge of Salesforce metadata and deployment dependencies
* Experience with Git/GitHub/Bitbucket
* Strong knowledge of Salesforce DX/SFDX
* Experience with Salesforce CLI
* Strong understanding of Salesforce deployment and validation processes
* Experience with Apex testing and Salesforce deployment test levels
* Experience with Salesforce sandbox management
* Knowledge of Salesforce security and deployment considerations for Profiles and Permission Sets
* Experience troubleshooting Salesforce deployment failures
* Strong understanding of Git branching and merge strategies
* Experience with Agile/Scrum development environments
* Strong communication and coordination skills

* Experience supporting financial-services or banking Salesforce environments

Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is a Salesforce-focused DevOps/Release Engineer, not simply a traditional infrastructure DevOps engineer. Candidates should be able to explain a real end-to-end AutoRABIT Salesforce deployment they personally performed, including Git branching, CI build configuration, metadata selection, validation, Apex testing, approval, Production deployment, and troubleshooting of failed deployments.
