Job Description:

  • Information Security Engineer 3
  • Experience triaging alerts.
  • Utilizing SIEM's for investigation, splunk experience preferred but open to any.
  • Looking for someone passionate about cybersecurity

In this contingent resource assignment, candidate may:

  • Participate in low to moderately complex initiatives and identify opportunities for process improvements within Information Security Engineering.
  • Review and analyze basic or tactical Information Security Engineering assignments or challenges that require research, evaluation, and selection of alternatives, related to lowto-medium risk deliverables.
  • Present recommendations for resolving low to moderately complex situations and exercise some independent judgment while developing understanding of function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
  • Provide information to client personnel in Information Security Engineering.

Required Qualifications:

  • 2 plus years of Information Security Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.

Note:

  • Chandler, AZ is required in person 3 days a week.
  • If hired, there will be a 2 to 3 month onboarding process in which they will have to work 8.00 am to 4.00 pm on Monday to Friday (5x8).
  • After completing onboarding, they will move to client s core schedule of Tuesday to Friday from 10.00 am to 8.00 pm (4x10s)
  • Core schedule still only requires 3 days in office, with 1 day remote.

Requirements:

  • Requirement 1: Has passion and interest in cybersecurity and incident response.
  • Requirement 2: Splunk experience
  • Requirement 3: Able to speak through investigation and triage steps for low complexity incidents, such as phishing, brute forcing, and malicious code execution.
