Job Summary

Overview We are seeking an experienced SAP Technical Project Manager to lead complex SAP S/4HANA Brownfield Migration programs. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical SAP background combined with proven project leadership capabilities to manage ECC to S/4HANA conversion initiatives. 

The role requires expertise in technical migration planning, custom code remediation, system conversion, integration management, cutover execution, and stakeholder governance. The successful candidate will lead cross-functional global teams and ensure successful delivery of SAP transformation programs while maintaining project scope, schedule, quality, and budget objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Program & Project Leadership Lead end-to-end SAP S/4HANA Brownfield migration projects from initiation through Hypercare.
• Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, RAID logs, and governance frameworks. Drive SAP Activate methodology adherence across all project phases. Coordinate multi-vendor and multi-country delivery teams.
• Establish project controls, reporting structures, and executive steering committees.
• Technical Migration Management Lead technical assessment and conversion readiness activities. Oversee system conversion strategy, architecture reviews, and migration planning.

Manage technical workstreams including:

• SAP Basis Data Migration Custom Code Remediation ATC Remediation SAP Fiori Enablement Integration and Interfaces Security & Authorizations Ensure alignment with Clean Core principles and SAP best practices. 
• Manage technical dependencies, risks, and mitigation plans. Cutover & Go-Live Management Develop and manage cutover strategy and execution plans.
• Lead mock conversions, dress rehearsals, and go-live readiness assessments. Coordinate deployment activities across technical and functional teams.
• Ensure business continuity through rollback and contingency planning. Manage Hypercare and post-production stabilization.
• Stakeholder & Governance Management Serve as the primary point of contact for client leadership and senior stakeholders.
• Present status updates, risks, and migration readiness reports. Facilitate decision-making and issue resolution forums.
• Manage expectations across business, IT, and executive sponsors.
• Team Leadership Lead global onshore, offshore, and nearshore teams.
• Coordinate SAP architects, Basis consultants, developers, integration leads, and functional stream leads. Mentor project managers, technical leads, and consultants.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performance delivery culture.
• Delivery Assurance Ensure successful delivery against scope, budget, schedule, and quality targets. Drive risk management and issue resolution. Monitor KPIs, milestones, and resource utilization.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise governance and security standards.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience 12+ years of overall SAP experience.
• 7+ years of SAP Project or Program Management experience.
• Minimum 3 full lifecycle SAP S/4HANA Brownfield migration projects.
• Experience managing large-scale enterprise SAP transformation programs. Proven success managing global delivery teams and stakeholders. Experience with SAP Activate methodology.

• Job Description: Understands the unique operational needs of each customer. Manages execution of the product development process, product integration, product configuration, product testing and product release. Meet the quality and timeframe as set by the customer with some guidance from Manager I.
• Manage projects of the following nature: Product implementation, Product Upgrades, Product updates, Application Maintenance, etc.
• Responsible for Product Implementation planning and execution of plans
• Consult customers to design and recommend solution architecture; recommending configuration approach and design for implementations
• Mentor and guide Product Specialists, Product Leads and Product Associates
• Manage non-function requirements in the project
• Conduct and document pre-implementation process review of customers workflow.
• The ability to provide in- depth process reviews and implementation of improved processes.
• Consult with customer to identify and communicate hardware and software requirements prior to implementation.
• Conduct training sessions with customers pre- and post-implementation.
• Enable team collaboration working with cross-functional teams.
• Manage implementation milestones and activities per project schedule.
• Conduct presentations, reviewing customer workflow to internal work groups in relation to the implementation.
• Provide feedback to Product Managers utilizing customer feedback.
• Deliver virtual and onsite training around product setup and best practices.
• Provide professional implementation and support services to clients resulting in smooth, well-coordinated implementations.
