We are currently seeking a Desktop support-Windows operating system to join our team in Toronto, Ontario (CA-ON), Canada (CA).
Job Description:
This role is to provide onsite support for end users, for tickets and issues at a client site. The technician will have the responsibility to own theissues through resolution.
Position Overview:
• Individuals here have a well-rounded knowledge of the policiesand procedures for their work area.
• Their work may require discretion and independent judgmentfor non-routine matters. However, the primary focus of workactivity is predominately routine.
• They may make policy recommendations to their managers andbe an escalation point for less experienced team members.
• Performs troubleshooting, parts replacement, systemsupgrades, deployment and repair on desktops / notebooks.

• May respond to calls after normal business hours per leaderinstructions.
• Identifi es potential issues that could adversely impact end userexperience and takes corrective action.
• Update and resolve tickets in a timely manner to achieveService Levels.
Position General Duties and Tasks:
• Typically requires 2-4 years relevant experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Undergraduate degree or some college coursework preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating system environment.
• Solid client service skills.
• A+ desktop or equivalent skill set is required; additionalcertifi cations for various hardware platforms may be required.
• Ability to physically perform general offi ce requirements.
• Must be able to perform essential responsibilities with orwithout reasonable accommodations.
• Travel including overnight domestic or international trips maybe required.
