Description: We are hiring an RF Test & Power Engineer to support the development, integration, testing, and delivery of advanced RF, digital, and power hardware systems. This role involves hands-on work with RF test equipment, troubleshooting hardware, analyzing data for early trends, and collaborating closely with design, manufacturing, and systems engineering teams. You will help ensure high product performance, yield, and reliability in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and implement RF and digital test methods and test equipment
- Perform hands-on testing, troubleshooting, and support of RF, digital, and power hardware
- Improve First Time Through Test Yield (FTTTY) and support hardware deliveries
- Analyze test results and identify early performance trends
- Recommend changes to test equipment, procedures, or manufacturing processes
- Work directly with design engineers to implement corrective actions and hardware improvements
- Support and mentor technicians on troubleshooting and test methodology
- Monitor yields and drive corrective actions for yield detractors
- Report test performance, yield issues, and corrective actions in program meetings
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and production teams
Required Qualifications & Skills- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field (with 2+ years exp) OR
Master's degree in EE/STEM (entry-level for Engineer, 3+ years for Principal) - Strong understanding of RF theory, digital circuitry, and power electronics
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, specifications & block diagrams
- Hands-on experience with RF & power test equipment:
- Oscilloscopes
- Spectrum analyzers
- Signal generators
- Power meters
- Experience troubleshooting power systems, diodes, transistors, capacitors, and high-power circuitry
Preferred Qualifications- Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering (Power / RF focus preferred)
- Experience troubleshooting complex circuit assemblies at system or component level
- Experience with LabWindows CVI, C/C++ programming
- TestStand experience
- Familiarity with LVDS or high-speed differential digital interfaces
- PXI/PXIe and VME bus experience
- Production/manufacturing test environment exposure
