Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior SQL Database Administrator (DBA) to manage enterprise database environments, optimize performance, and implement high-availability and disaster recovery solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and manage SQL Server Clustering and Always On Availability Groups.
• Perform database performance tuning using SQL Profiler, Extended Events, and DMVs.
• Develop advanced T-SQL scripts for database administration and automation.
• Manage SQL Server upgrades, Cumulative Updates, and Service Packs with minimal downtime.
• Support MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, Microsoft Access, and Oracle PL/SQL environments.
• Manage database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies to meet RPO/RTO targets.
• Implement database security practices, including TDE, auditing, and RBAC.
• Support Azure database migrations and hybrid database environments.
• Troubleshoot complex database issues and mentor junior team members.

Required Skills:

• 8+ years of enterprise SQL Server DBA experience.
• Strong expertise in SQL Server Clustering, Always On Availability Groups, HA/DR, and performance tuning.
• Advanced T-SQL scripting and database troubleshooting skills.
• Hands-on experience with MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, Microsoft Access, and Oracle PL/SQL.
• Knowledge of Azure database services and migration.
• Mandatory DP-300 certification and prior Public Trust clearance experience.

Preferred Skills:

• Terraform, ARM templates, and PowerShell.
• Redgate, SolarWinds, or Idera monitoring tools.
• MCSA/MCSE certifications in SQL Server or Data Management.
