Duration::- 12+ months contract
Location: Long Beach, CA (HYBRID) - Locals ONLY

Job Overview 

We are seeking a Senior .NET Consultant/Architect with strong experience in MuleSoft integration and migration within the banking/financial services domain. The ideal candidate will lead the transformation of legacy integration platforms into modern, scalable .NET microservices and API-driven architectures, supporting digital banking initiatives.  
 

Core Technologies:

  • Strong experience in .NET Core /  / C#
  • Hands-on experience with MuleSoft (Anypoint Platform)
  • Expertise in API development, integration, and migration strategies
  • Experience with microservices architecture & domain-driven design (DDD)

Cloud & DevOps:

  • Experience with Microsoft Azure (App Services, Functions, Storage, Key Vault)
  • CI/CD tools and pipelines (Azure DevOps or similar)
  • Containerization (Docker, OpenShift/Kubernetes)

Security:

  • OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect
  • API security best practices (OWASP, SonarQube)

Additional:

  • Experience with TDD (xUnit, Moq)
  • Monitoring tools (Splunk, App Insights)
  • Messaging/async processing (queues, batch processing)
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead migration of MuleSoft-based integrations to .NET Core /  microservices architecture
  • Design and develop secure, scalable APIs for digital banking platforms
  • Architect and implement enterprise integration solutions across banking systems
  • Build and deploy domain-driven microservices using modern .NET frameworks
  • Implement API security standards including OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and OWASP best practices
  • Develop and manage APIs and integrations using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform
  • Drive API-first and cloud-native architecture strategies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (BA, Product, DevOps) to solve complex integration challenges
  • Design technical solutions, architecture diagrams, and proof of concepts (POCs)
  • Develop CI/CD pipelines and support automated deployments
  • Ensure system performance, scalability, and reliability across distributed systems
  • Support containerized deployments using tools like OpenShift/Docker
  • Monitor and troubleshoot production systems using logging and monitoring tools

Domain Experience

  • Must have: Banking / Financial Services experience
  • Exposure to digital banking, payments, or wallet integrations (e.g., VISA APIs) is highly preferred
