We are seeking a Civil Engineer with 2+ years of experience to support a growing portfolio of public-sector and infrastructure projects. This role is ideal for an early-career engineer looking to deepen technical skills, gain exposure across project phases, and grow under the mentorship of experienced engineers and project managers.
The Civil Engineer will contribute to the planning, design, and construction support of civil infrastructure projects, working closely with multidisciplinary teams on impactful work for municipal and public clients.

Job Details

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the planning, design, and execution of civil engineering projects
Prepare engineering calculations, reports, exhibits, and technical memoranda
Support development of construction plans, specifications, and cost estimates
Perform grading, drainage, and utility design tasks under supervision
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and designers across disciplines
Support permitting and agency coordination efforts
Assist with construction administration activities, including: reviewing RFIs and submittals, responding to contractor questions, performing site visits as needed
Apply applicable codes, standards, and QA/QC procedures throughout project delivery

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline
Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in civil engineering
Experience supporting civil/infrastructure projects (municipal or consulting environment preferred)
Working knowledge of civil design software, such as:
AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or MicroStation / OpenRoads
Familiarity with engineering plans, specifications, and construction documents
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or active pursuit of licensure
