Cloud Financial Analyst/SME

A recognized services organization in Virginia is seeking a new Cloud Financial Analyst SME to manage and optimize the financial aspects of cloud operations in a flexible working environment.

About the Opportunity:

• Shift: Day


• Schedule: Full-time


• Hours: 40 hours per week


• Setting: Remote

Responsibilities:

• Participating in cloud architectural reviews and preparing cost estimates


• Developing comprehensive monthly financial reports


• Designing and implementing chargeback models


• Creating fiscal year projections and maintaining budget utilization charts


• Identifying cost optimization opportunities

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, with at least 3 years in cloud cost management


• Bachelor's degree


• Proficiency with Cloud Cost Management tools (e.g., AWS Cost Explorer)


• Strong knowledge of Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)


• Advanced Excel skills


• Exceptional analytical skills


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills


• Strong collaboration skills

Desired Skills:

• Experience with FinOps practices


• FinOps Certified Practitioner certification


• Proficiency with Cloud Governance frameworks


• Familiarity with Python


• Experience in a Technology-driven environment
