We are seeking an experienced System Administrator 2 to oversee infrastructure provisioning, manage daily server operations, and deliver Tier 3 technical support.

Location: Salem, VA 24153

Work Arrangement: Onsite

Interview Process: In-Person or Remote

Experience Level: 4–7 Years

Core Skills & Experience

IT Customer Support: 5+ years delivering direct technical support

Ticketing & Documentation: 2+ years managing service tickets and technical docs

Desktop & Laptop Support: 2+ years in hardware and application troubleshooting

Server & Systems Maintenance (Preferred): 2+ years handling VMware ESXi (7.x+), Windows Server (2016–2025), Linux environments, and basic networking

Key Responsibilities

Rebuild and configure servers, storage, and peripheral hardware

Run daily system monitoring, backup operations, and user account management

Apply OS patches, software upgrades, and system performance optimization

Diagnose and resolve complex Tier 3 hardware and software issues
