JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Lead and manage a multi-disciplinary engineering team including RF, Electrical, Mechanical, Software, and Systems Engineers, as well as PCB Designers and Technicians
* Oversee day-to-day engineering operations to ensure teams are optimized, motivated, and delivering high-quality solutions
* Drive improvements in engineering processes, methodologies, and workflows to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality
* Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and resolve technical and resource conflicts across teams
* Chair design reviews, lead technical sessions, and enforce engineering best practices and standards
* Support Bid & Proposal (B&P) efforts including cost estimation, technical writing, and solution development for defense and space programs
* Engage with clients to assess project feasibility and build strong technical relationships
* Manage full employee lifecycle including hiring, coaching, performance management, and professional development
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bachelor"s Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or related field
* 8+ years of engineering and/or systems experience
* Proven experience managing or leading technical teams in a fast-paced environment
* Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE:
* Background in RF and/or Microwave engineering within aerospace or defense industries
* Experience working with multi-disciplinary engineering teams
* Knowledge of engineering development processes for mission-critical systems
* Experience supporting DoD or space-related programs
* Strong understanding of performance management and engineering operations
PREFERRED SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS:
* Experience leading teams supporting military or space-based communication systems
* Familiarity with radiation-hardened systems or ruggedized tactical hardware
* Previous involvement in proposal development and technical sales support
* Experience driving continuous improvement initiatives
* Advanced degree in engineering or related field
