Role Overview
Tier4 Group is hiring an associate who is building a new cybersecurity team, with a strong focus on Identity and Access Management (IAM). This role will help centralize IAM responsibilities under the cybersecurity function and transition IAM-related tasks from the Service Desk into a dedicated security role.
This is an excellent opportunity for a curious, motivated technologist with 1–2 years of IT support experience who wants to grow into cybersecurity. The IAM function is being built from the ground up, giving this individual the chance to document processes, draft policies, and leave a lasting impact.
Key Responsibilities
• Support the user access lifecycle (account creation, access changes, password resets, deprovisioning)
• Assist with configuration and support of SSO, MFA, and access controls
• Document IAM processes, standards, and procedures
• Partner with the Service Desk to offload IAM-related tasks
• Support access reviews and audit activities
• Work closely with cybersecurity and IT leadership
Required Qualifications
• 1–2 years of full-time experience in IT support (Help Desk / Service Desk)
• Strong desire to learn and grow in cybersecurity and IAM
• Understanding of how systems and applications interact
• Strong communication skills and customer-service mindset
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks
Nice-to-Have Skills
• Exposure to IAM concepts such as SSO, MFA, RBAC, or provisioning
• Experience in Microsoft environments
• Ability to write documentation or procedures
• Security coursework, labs, or certifications (e.g., Security+)
Contract Details
• 6-month contract with potential conversion (not guaranteed)
• Start Date: March 2
• Remote with preference for candidates within a few hours of Lake Wales, FL
