Job Title: Network Security Analyst - RSA Archer Specialist

Job Location: Asustin, Texas- Onsite

Position Overview

The Network Security Analyst) - RSA Archer Specialist is responsible for planning, designing, implementing, configuring, and supporting enterprise RSA Archer Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) solutions. This role focuses on delivering scalable and secure Archer applications that support assessment and authorization, controls assurance, issue management, and continuous compliance monitoring across the organization.

The ideal candidate will work closely with Information Security, Risk Management, Compliance, Data Privacy, and IT stakeholders to ensure Archer solutions align with enterprise governance frameworks, regulatory requirements, and security control standards.

This position operates independently on complex technical assignments while collaborating across cross-functional teams to support mission-critical enterprise GRC operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, configure, implement, and maintain RSA Archer applications and solutions
  • Support and enhance:
    • Assessment & Authorization (A&A)
    • Controls Assurance Program Management
    • Issues Management
    • Custom Archer applications
    • System integrations
  • Gather, analyze, and translate business and functional requirements into:
    • Technical solution designs
    • Configuration specifications
    • User stories
    • Implementation and deployment plans
  • Configure and customize Archer components including:
    • Questionnaires and surveys
    • Forms and data fields
    • Workflows and approvals
    • Calculations and data relationships
    • Role-based access controls
    • Data feeds and automated imports
  • Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and web services between Archer and external enterprise systems such as ServiceNow, ITSM, CMDB, and risk platforms
  • Implement client-side customizations and dynamic behaviors using JavaScript and jQuery
  • Troubleshoot application issues, optimize performance, and resolve defects
  • Produce and maintain technical documentation including:
    • System configurations
    • Integration specifications
    • Testing documentation
    • Change requests
    • Process transformation documentation
    • Project management artifacts
  • Follow established governance, release management, and change control procedures
  • Support user adoption through training, knowledge transfer sessions, and solution walkthroughs
  • Monitor network and system security events, investigate vulnerabilities, and recommend remediation strategies
  • Assist in protecting enterprise systems against cyber threats, unauthorized access, and security breaches



Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Information Systems, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on RSA Archer administration and configuration experience
  • Strong experience implementing enterprise GRC solutions
  • Expertise in:
    • RSA Archer platform architecture
    • Application configuration
    • Workflow design
    • Data model management
    • Access controls and permissions
  • Experience with REST APIs, web services, and enterprise integrations
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript and jQuery
  • Excellent analytical, documentation, troubleshooting, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in structured, change-controlled environments



Required Certifications

Candidates must possess one of the following certifications:

  • Archer Certified Professional (ACP)

OR

  • Level 3 Archer Certified Administrator - Expert Certification



Preferred Qualifications

  • 10+ years supporting large enterprise or government GRC implementations
  • Experience with:
    • NIST
    • ISO 27001
    • SOC
    • Regulatory compliance frameworks
  • Experience integrating Archer with ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms
  • Prior experience within Information Security, Risk Management, or Compliance teams
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity operations, vulnerability management, and incident response processes
