Role Overview:
We are seeking a Power BI Consultant to develop and maintain impactful reporting solutions. This role involves designing data models, building dashboards, and extracting insights from complex datasets. The ideal candidate will leverage expertise in Power BI, SQL, and SAP to support supply chain and business process optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards, data models, and reports.
- Develop advanced DAX measures, calculated tables, and KPIs to support business analysis.
- Write and optimize SQL Server queries to extract, transform, and validate data for reporting.
- Collaborate with functional teams to understand SAP data structures across ECC, BW, and S/4HANA.
- Translate business requirements for procurement, inventory, and supply chain into effective analytics solutions.
- Define and document business definitions, KPI standards, and metric logic.
- Reconcile data across multiple systems including SAP, SQL Server, and Power BI.
- Manage Power BI workspaces, apps, permissions, and deployment processes, including Row-Level Security (RLS).
- Apply UX/UI design principles to create intuitive and standardized dashboard layouts.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including dashboard specifications and data source details.
Required Qualifications:
Technical Skills: Power BI, DAX, SQL Server, SAP ECC, BW, S/4HANA.
Experience: Data modeling (star schema), data validation, and reconciliation. Experience with supply chain business processes, including Procurement, Sourcing, Inventory Management, and Warehouse Operations. Proficiency in stakeholder management and requirements gathering.
