Data Product Owner (Jr. level)

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Data Product Owner to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about leveraging data to drive business decisions and improve user experiences.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and translate business needs into actionable product requirements.
• Define and prioritize the product backlog to align with evolving business objectives.
• Oversee all stages of product development, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies and effectively communicate updates to cross-functional teams.
• Develop user stories and monitor product progress to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
• Champion the use of data in decision-making processes and product enhancements.

Skills

• Proven experience as a Product Owner in enterprise environments, particularly in data-driven projects.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working within scaled Agile frameworks.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex data concepts to diverse audiences.
• Proficiency in data analytics tools, including SQL and visualization platforms like Tableau or Power BI.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud technologies and product development in cloud environments.
• Familiarity with data modeling and governance practices.
• Ability to synthesize technical information into clear, actionable product requirements.
• Background in financial services or related industries is a plus.
