Summary

Position: Senior Data Testing Lead
Location: Chicago, IL (100% Remote)
Duration: 6–12 Months Contract

We are seeking an experienced Data Testing Lead with strong technical expertise in addition to core QA/testing capabilities. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in data validation, transformation, and end-to-end testing across enterprise data platforms.

Key Responsibilities & Skills:

Extensive experience in data testing, including requirement analysis, data mapping validation, transformation rule verification, and downstream data validation.
Strong technical knowledge of data platforms and file handling, including Azure Data Lake, MuleSoft, Databus, and various file formats such as JSON and XML.
Ability to write and optimize custom SQL queries for validating data across multiple source and target systems.
Experience in validating historical datasets, full data loads, and incremental data loads.
Hands-on experience in batch performance testing, including workload model creation, defining performance metrics, and preparing baseline vs. actual comparison reports.
