Summary

IBM Aspera Migration Architect
Location: Remote (EST Hours Preferred)
Duration: 10 12+ Weeks

We're seeking a hands-on IBM Aspera Migration Architect to support a large enterprise platform migration. This consultant will stand up a new IBM Aspera environment and migrate enterprise file transfer workflows from a legacy environment into a new infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Design and deploy a new IBM Aspera environment
Assess existing transfer workflows, endpoints, permissions, and integrations
Migrate or recreate enterprise file transfer configurations
Build migration plans, runbooks, validation procedures, and cutover documentation
Coordinate with infrastructure, networking, security, and application teams
Validate transfer functionality following migration

Requirements

Strong hands-on IBM Aspera experience
Experience standing up or migrating Aspera environments
Enterprise file transfer / Managed File Transfer experience
Platform migration, divestiture, or carve-out experience
Experience developing migration runbooks and technical documentation
Excellent communication skills
