Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Design Engineer / Engineering Data Verification Engineer to support the review and validation of engineering technical data for aerospace Build-to-Packages (BTPs). In this role, you will ensure that engineering packages are complete, accurate, consistent, and fully aligned with applicable design standards and drafting practices.
Responsibilities
Review and verify completeness, accuracy, and clarity of engineering technical data for Build-to-Packages (BTPs).
Evaluate engineering drawings, models, and bills of materials for compliance with applicable design and drafting standards.
Ensure engineering data is interpretable, complete, and suitable for downstream users such as manufacturing, supply chain, and quality teams.
Interpret and apply industry standards, including ASME and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
Incorporate Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) into drawings with accuracy and consistency.
Collaborate with engineering teams to support schedule commitments and deliver high-quality technical data.
Work within a drawing- and model-centric engineering environment and utilize standard engineering toolsets and productivity software.
Basic Qualifications
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment with critical schedules.
Proficient with standard PC operations and communication tools.
Legally authorized to work in the United States (U.S. citizen or permanent resident).
Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings, engineering models, and bills of materials.
Required Skills
5+ years of aerospace mechanical structures design experience.
5+ years of ASME standards experience.
5+ years of hands-on GD&T application experience.
Experience reading, interpreting, and validating engineering drawings.
Experience applying Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) to technical data.
Experience with 3D CAD systems (CATIA preferred).
Preferred Qualifications
Strong attention to detail with excellent planning and organizational skills.
Clear, positive written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
Experience with Photo-Shop is a plus.
Familiarity with AMMM aircraft (C-130, C-5, P-3).
Experience with aerospace engineering toolsets and model-based design environments.
