In this dynamic position, you'll collaborate closely with the Information Security Manager to advance, refine, and support cutting-edge security systems and protocols. Your expertise will be fundamental in deploying security controls, analyzing security events, managing incidents, and strengthening cloud and infrastructure defenses. This is an exceptional opportunity to integrate your technical prowess with strategic security initiatives in a highly respected, global organization committed to innovation and security excellence.

Compensation:
$135,000 annually

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement security architecture based on Zero Trust principles, enhancing identity-centric access, device posture validation, and least privilege controls
  • Deploy and support platform solutions such as ZTNA/SSE (e.g., Netskope, Zscaler) for secure remote connectivity and data integrity
  • Engineer multi-layered security defenses across endpoints, networks, and cloud environments, collaborating with IT teams to embed security into infrastructure and application development
  • Oversee SIEM operations by managing log ingestion, normalization, correlation, and fine-tuning alerts to enhance threat detection capabilities
  • Develop detection strategies, dashboards, and alerting workflows aimed at increasing threat visibility and minimizing false alarms
  • Drive incident investigations, lead response efforts, and perform root cause analyses to curtail security breaches and remediate vulnerabilities
  • Support Identity and Access Management (IAM), Privileged Access Management (PAM), data protection, and encryption initiatives to control access and secure sensitive information
  • Manage security controls across Azure and AWS cloud platforms, including implementing conditional access, workload security, and SaaS security postures
  • Participate in vulnerability management, risk analysis, and compliance assessments according to industry standards such as NIST, CMMC, and DISA STIGs
  • Evaluate emerging threats related to AI/ML systems, monitoring guardrails and data security measures against evolving AI-driven risks
  • Act as a subject matter expert on security projects, collaborating across teams to improve security systems, automate processes, and optimize detection and response workflows
  • Provide rotational on-call support, quick incident response, and continual process enhancements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity, security engineering, or security operations, with a preference for experience in professional services or consulting environments
  • Demonstrated expertise in SIEM platforms (log analysis, alert tuning, threat detection), EDR/XDR tools, and cloud security in Azure and AWS
  • Practical knowledge of security automation, scripting (e.g., Python, PowerShell), and security architecture design
  • Experience deploying and managing Zero Trust security models and implementing secure network infrastructure
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure fundamentals such as TCP/IP, firewalls, VPNs, and network segmentation
  • Certifications like CISSP, Security+, GIAC, or cloud security certifications are advantageous
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with an ability to translate technical risks into business outcomes
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
