Genesis10 is currently seeking a GenAI Solution Architect for an onsite contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 9+ month contract opportunity. This role is responsible for defining, documenting, and maintaining GenAI solution architectures across various initiatives. The architect will ensure consistency, clarity, and alignment with enterprise standards while enabling rapid GenAI innovation. The ideal candidate will partner closely with engineering, data, security, and risk teams to document current state and target state designs and key architectural decisions.
Responsibilities: - Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Systems Architecture
- Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale or longer-term Systems Architect challenges
- Own and maintain solution architecture documentation for GenAI initiatives
- Document current state, interim, and target state architectures
- Define integration patterns between GenAI platforms, data sources, and enterprise systems
- Capture design decisions, trade-offs, and architectural principles
- Partner with engineering, data, security, and risk teams to validate designs
- Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and governance standards
- Support architecture reviews and design approvals
Requirements: - 5+ years of Systems Architecture experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, or education
- Solution, enterprise, or business architecture experience
- GenAI / AI platform architecture concepts
- Cloud architecture (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform - as applicable)
- Integration patterns (APIs, event-driven, data pipelines)
- Experience with architecture diagramming tools (e.g., Visio, Lucid, Draw.io)
- Strong analytical and systems thinking
- Ability to translate complex designs into clear documentation
- Experience collaborating across technical and non-technical teams
- Attention to detail and documentation quality
- Pragmatic decision-making in ambiguous environments
Pay range: $70.00 - $79.00 per Hour
