Job Title: Senior Mainframe Developer

Location: Charlotte, NC ONSITE (Local candidates only)
Experience Required: 8+
Duration: 6+ months

Max Rate: CTC Rate: $52/hr | W2 Rate: $48/hr

Mainframe position focused on development (COBOL, JCL, etc.) and vulnerability remediation.

Must-Have Technical / Functional Skills

8+ years of experience in Mainframe skills:
- COBOL | JCL | DB2 | VSAM | CICS | ChangeMan | File Aid / File Manager | DFSORT | Syncsort | Easytrieve | System Z
Ability to develop high-performing, scalable, and innovative end-to-end applications

Roles & Responsibilities

Experience in migration from legacy to distributed systems
Apply SDLC principles and methodologies such as:
- Lean / Agile / XP
- Continuous Integration (CI)
- Software and Product Security
- Scalability practices
- Documentation standards
- Testing techniques
Write code that meets standards and delivers desired functionality
Understand performance parameters and assess application performance
Work with APIs through middleware
Perform vulnerability remediation
Provide on-call support on a weekly rotation basis
Work independently and take ownership of business requirements
Collaborate with technical partners and Product Owners
Demonstrate strong technical and analytical capabilities
