Summary

Job Title: Data Center Infrastructure Engineering Manager
Hybrid at Charlotte, NC

We are seeking a Data Center Infrastructure Engineering Manager with strong experience in critical facilities, mission-critical infrastructure, and data center engineering. The ideal candidate will have hands-on knowledge of critical power, cooling, capacity planning, resiliency, and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, maintain, improve, and expand physical data center infrastructure.
  • Oversee critical electrical and mechanical systems, including UPS, generators, switchgear, power distribution, and cooling systems.
  • Support capacity planning for power, space, and cooling.
  • Lead infrastructure upgrades, construction, commissioning, and integration activities.
  • Perform root-cause analysis and develop corrective actions for infrastructure failures.
  • Partner with construction teams, utilities, vendors, Real Estate, Technology, and facility stakeholders.
  • Drive infrastructure reliability, resiliency, efficiency, and standardization.
  • Track engineering and operational metrics and support data-driven decisions.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in Data Center, Critical Facilities, Mission Critical, or related infrastructure engineering.
  • Strong understanding of electrical/mechanical data center systems and infrastructure resiliency.
  • Experience with data center projects, capacity planning, commissioning, and infrastructure upgrades.
  • Experience with budgets, capital projects, vendors, and cost management.
  • Strong analytical, communication, leadership, and project management skills.
  • Experience working in large, complex, and cross-functional organizations.
  • Familiarity with DCIM, monitoring/telemetry, availability, redundancy, and failover concepts.
  • Knowledge of industry standards, safety requirements, codes, and AHJ coordination is preferred.

Preferred: Experience with hyperscale/colocation data centers, utility coordination, site assessments, commissioning, and critical systems failure analysis.
