Senior Backend Developer - Java/GoLang (EDI Focus)

Job Description

Techno Talent Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer with strong expertise in Java and GoLang who will be part of a collaborative and agile team that supports and builds modern, usable, and responsive applications for mission-critical U.S. federal government health IT solutions.  The ideal candidate should possess deep backend development experience with a strong focus on EDI-related integrations, distributed systems, APIs, and enterprise backend services.

This role is best suited for candidates with strong backend engineering capabilities rather than frontend-focused development experience.

Basic Requirements:

• Ability to obtain a U.S. Federal Position of Trust clearance designation.  
• U.S. Citizensh*p or Green Ca*d is required for this role
• Must reside in and be able to perform work in the United States.  
• Must have lived in the United States for 3 of the last 5 years.  

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of software development experience
• Strong hands-on backend development experience using:
  • Java
  • GoLang (Golang)
• Strong understanding of:
  • REST APIs
  • Microservices Architecture
  • Distributed Systems
  • Backend Service Development
• Experience with:
  • EDI integrations and transaction processing
  • Enterprise system integrations
  • High-volume data processing
  • Messaging/event-driven architectures
• Strong experience with:
  • Spring Boot
  • Java-based backend frameworks
  • API development and integration
  • SQL/NoSQL databases
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Strong debugging, performance tuning, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs
• Work on EDI-related backend integrations and processing systems
• Collaborate with architects and technical teams on backend modernization initiatives
• Develop high-performance and reliable enterprise applications
• Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and production support activities
• Contribute to architecture and technical design discussions
