Key Responsibilities
Integration Design, Development & Support
- Monitor the overall health of all inbound and outbound integrations to and from Workday.
- Lead the discovery, design, and development of Workday integrations for implementations, enhancements, and ongoing AMS support.
- Build and deliver integration solutions using Workday standard tools (e.g., EIB, Core Connectors, Studio, REST/SOAP).
- Modify, launch, and monitor integration events, schedules, and notifications in Workday.
- Triage and resolve integration alerts including failures, warnings, and performance issues.
- Investigate integration failures from a business process, data quality, or technical system perspective.
- Serve as Level3 support, handling complex incidents, special projects, and issues requiring deep technical expertise.
- Ensure integration solutions meet security, compliance, and data governance standards.
EndtoEnd Workday Implementation & Enhancements
- Participate in and lead full lifecycle Workday implementations and major phase rollouts, including requirements, design, build, testing, deployment, and hypercare.
- Support Workday biannual releases, including impact analysis, testing, and deployment planning across integrations and modules.
- Collaborate with functional teams to ensure integrations align with configured Workday business processes.
- Lead or support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and regression testing for integrations and crossmodule processes.
- Write and execute unit and system test cases, manage defect tracking, and drive resolution.
CrossModule & Business Partnership
- Act as a solution lead across multiple Workday modules (e.g., HCM, Payroll, Time Tracking, Benefits, Recruiting, Learning, Financials).
- Lead business and functional requirement discussions, translating needs into technically sound and scalable Workday solutions.
- Facilitate design workshops and solution reviews with business stakeholders.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to business partners, clearly articulating Workday capabilities, limitations, and bestpractice approaches.
- Proactively identify process improvement opportunities enabled by Workday standard functionality and integrations.
- Ensure business stakeholders understand endtoend process impacts across Workday modules and downstream systems.
Architecture, Governance & Delivery Management
- Own and maintain the Workday integration and solution architecture, ensuring consistency and scalability across modules.
- Ensure all work follows established governance, change management, and release management processes.
- Scope, estimate, and deliver technical solutions for requests coming through the helpdesk/ticketing system, prioritized and approved by stakeholders.
- Manage and oversee the performance, workload, and deliverables of offshore integration resources.
- Ensure solutions meet business, technical, and operational support requirements.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of Workday experience, including full lifecycle implementations and AMS/postproduction support.
- Strong handson experience with Workday integrations (EIB, Core Connectors, Studio, REST/SOAP).
- Experience supporting or implementing multiple Workday modules (HCM required; Payroll, Time Tracking, Benefits, Recruiting, Financials preferred).
- Proven ability to lead businessfacing discussions and translate functional requirements into technical designs.
- Experience working with offshore/onshore delivery models.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problemsolving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience serving as a Workday Integration or Technical Lead.
- Experience in global or complex Workday environments.
- Familiarity with Workday security, data privacy, and compliance considerations.
- Workday certifications (Integration, HCM, or related modules).
