Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Support Specialist for a contract position with a Large Energy Company located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This role focuses on providing technical assistance and troubleshooting for critical financial and HRIS systems such as NetSuite and Workday. The ideal candidate will collaborate with various stakeholders to optimize processes, manage user access, and ensure SOX compliance while supporting system upgrades and resolving technical issues to maintain uninterrupted business operations.
Responsibilities: - Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting for financial systems such as NetSuite, Workday, and other systems, ensuring uninterrupted operations for finance and HR
- Collaborate with stakeholders, IT, and vendor support to identify and implement technical solutions that improve efficiency
- Work with application owners and management to follow the proper processes to grant user access, maintaining documentation for compliance leveraging ServiceNow
- Assist with system audits by providing samples, reports, and other documentation in a timely manner
- Serve as the IT liaison for financial system upgrades and improvements, collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Monitor and support the performance of systems, resolving technical issues to ensure uninterrupted workflow
- Assist in system audits, ensuring systems comply with SOX regulations and other internal controls
- Provide ad-hoc support to the finance and HR departments, helping with system issues, system integrations, user training, and ongoing technical enhancements
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify and implement NetSuite enhancements, ensuring all changes are documented in alignment with our client's Change Management process
- Produce clear and comprehensive documentation including business requirements, integration specifications, and functional/technical design documents
- Capture and maintain SOX compliance requirements for in-scope processes and provide support during audits
Requirements: - Experience providing application support for financial and/or HRIS systems (e.g., NetSuite, Workday)
- Understanding of process optimization and implementing technical solutions
- Familiarity with access provisioning and compliance documentation, preferably using ServiceNow
- Experience assisting with system audits and supporting SOX compliance
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders and IT
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Pay range: $26.30 - $36.30 per hour
