The Opportunity

StaffRight Associates has been retained by a premier regional client to lead the search for an experienced Advanced SQL Development, Systems Analysis, Application Development, Data Modeling, Query Tuning, Indexing, Stored Procedures, Liquibase, Database Change Management, CI/CD Deployment Automation, Azure SQL, Java, Spring Boot, JDBC/JPA. Positioned within a dynamic engineering group, this high-visibility contract engagement empowers a senior practitioner to drive enterprise database design, modernize application integration pathways, and elevate core architecture. In collaboration with StaffRight Associates, our client is seeking a technical leader to steer complex data initiatives, refine deployment workflows, and establish robust software delivery standards across key operational systems.

What You'll Do

  • Architect intricate database structures and application modules to power mission-critical software solutions.

  • Guide junior engineering personnel through technical mentorship while harmonizing multi-project development deliverables.

  • Optimize sophisticated database operations through refined query performance tuning, strategic indexing, and comprehensive data modeling.

  • Govern automated database change pipelines utilizing versioning controls, deployment scripts, and rollback strategies.

  • Construct resilient, highly secure enterprise integrations leveraging modern backend services connected to cloud database infrastructure.

  • Facilitate multi-platform data migration initiatives while maintaining seamless interoperability across interdependent application environments.

  • Synthesize detailed architecture blueprints, functional documentation, and validation protocols to inform engineering and testing workflows.

  • Resolve intricate system anomalies and database bottlenecks across all phases of the software development lifecycle.

  • Champion modern tooling adoption, emerging technologies, and operational refinements to enhance team velocity and system reliability.

  • Evaluate third-party software products to provide decisive technical recommendations during vendor selection and integration.

What You Bring

  • Six Plus Years of combined experience in Systems Analysis and Application Development, or an equivalent blend of formal education and practical field history.

  • Advanced SQL Development expertise, encompassing Data Modeling, Query Tuning, Indexing, and Stored Procedures.

  • Proven Liquibase mastery for executing Database Change Management, schema version control, and CI/CD Deployment Automation.

  • Strong Proficiency working with Azure SQL, Java, Spring Boot, and JDBC/JPA to engineer resilient system integrations.

  • Demonstrated Ability to isolate and resolve complex architectural defects across distributed platforms and interconnected systems.

  • Proven Mentorship capabilities, with a history of directing junior technical staff on multi-phase software initiatives.

  • Solid Understanding of Application Frameworks, paired with strong cross-functional communication skills across business and engineering units.

  • Track Record of driving project delivery milestones, managing tight deadlines, and pivoting seamlessly amid evolving business priorities.

Compensation & Total Rewards

Pay Range: $80-88/hr W2 Direct-hire
