Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled GenAI Cloud Engineer with strong handson experience in Generative AI solutions on Google Cloud Platform (Vertex AI) and/or AWS Bedrock. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure, networking, IAM, security, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and CI/CD pipelines, and will contribute to building and operating scalable GenAI platforms in a secure enterprise environment.
This role requires close collaboration with platform, networking, and security teams and strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
GenAI & Cloud Engineering
- Design, develop, and deploy Generative AI solutions using:
- Google Vertex AI and/or AWS Bedrock
- Support model lifecycle management, inference workflows, and GenAI platform integrations.
- Work with GenAI tools such as GitHub Copilot and other AI-assisted development frameworks.
Cloud Infrastructure & Networking
- Design and manage cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).
- Implement and maintain:
- Cloud networking
- VPCs, subnets, firewall rules
- Secure thirdparty connectivity
- Configure and manage:
- IAM policies
- Network security foundations
- Secure access controls
Containers & Orchestration
- Deploy and manage containerized workloads using:
- Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)
- Ensure scalability, reliability, and security of Kubernetes-based platforms.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Build and manage infrastructure using Terraform or equivalent IaC tools.
- Maintain reusable, versioncontrolled infrastructure modules.
- Enforce infrastructure standards and best practices.
CI/CD & Automation
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using:
- Automate build, test, deployment, and infrastructure provisioning processes.
- Integrate security and validation checks into CI/CD workflows.
Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with:
- Cloud platform teams
- Security teams
- Application development teams
- Participate in design reviews, planning sessions, and technical discussions.
- Clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
MustHave Qualifications
- 6+ years of handson engineering experience with:
- Generative AI on Google Cloud Platform (Vertex AI) and/or AWS Bedrock
- Strong experience with:
- Cloud networking
- Thirdparty connectivity
- IAM
- Network security foundations
- Handson experience implementing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
- Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines, especially GitHub Actions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
NicetoHave Skills
- Experience with:
- Multicloud environments (Google Cloud Platform + AWS)
- Advanced Kubernetes networking and security
- Enterprise GenAI platforms and governance models
- Exposure to MLOps or AI platform operations
