Job Description

We are looking for a Senior .NET Developer to oversee the design, development, and maintenance of ASP.NET Web Forms applications while ensuring best practices and stakeholder expectations are met. This position will be Full-Time and Onsite.

What You ll Do

  • Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of ASP.NET Web Forms applications

  • Maintain and enhance existing code

  • Perform and participate in design and code review

  • Identify risks and make recommendations for best practices

  • Meet with and manage expectations of key stakeholders


What You'll Need

Required:

  • 10+ years of expert experience developing web applications using C#, VB.Net, and ASP.Net

  • 10+ years of experience with MS SQL 2008 or higher

  • 10+ years of proficiency with Web Services, JavaScript, and AJAX technologies

  • 10+ years of experience overseeing the maintenance and enhancement of existing code

  • 10+ years of experience performing and participating in design and code reviews

  • 10+ years of experience identifying risks and recommending best practices

  • 5+ years of experience meeting with and managing expectations of key stakeholders

  • 5+ years of experience in CSS, jQuery, and web design


Preferred:

  • Experience with state government business needs

  • Familiarity with architecture and coding standards


Physical Demands

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards

  • Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor

  • Must be able to communicate with customers/team members over the phone and in person

  • Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc
