ETL Developer

Role Overview

The client is seeking an ETL Programmer with strong hands-on experience in Azure Data Factory to design, build, and maintain scalable data integration and ETL solutions. The role focuses on developing secure, high-performance data pipelines within the Azure cloud ecosystem, supporting enterprise-level data warehousing and analytics initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain ETL pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Data Flows, and Mapping Data Flows
Integrate data from multiple sources including SQL Server, Blob Storage, APIs, and third-party systems
Develop and support Azure-based data warehouses and data lakes
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize ETL workflows for performance and data quality
Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to gather and implement data requirements
Implement data governance, security, and compliance best practices
Automate data workflows and support large-scale data processing

Required Skills

ETL development experience 3+ years
Azure Data Factory (ADF) 1+ year
SQL, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Lake, Azure Functions 5+ years
CI/CD pipelines, Git, DevOps practices 5+ years
Data modeling, data warehousing, cloud architecture 5+ years
Power BI, Databricks, or Python for data transformation 5+ years
Agile methodologies and tools (JIRA, Azure Boards) 4+ years
