IT Manager to lead the
Application Delivery and Load Balancing team within its network engineering and operations function. This team ensures secure, scalable, high-performing delivery of low-latency applications across a global infrastructure.
This position offers a hybrid work schedule, combining remote flexibility with on-site collaboration as needed.
Role PurposeThe IT Manager will provide leadership, coaching, and strategic direction to a team of highly technical engineers responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing application delivery and load balancing solutions.

Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Team Management- Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing engineering team.
- Foster a culture of trust, accountability, and collaboration.
- Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Manage team performance, hiring, training, recognition, and career development.
- Model effective communication, collaboration, and conflict resolution.
Strategic & Technical Oversight- Define and drive team objectives to ensure resilience, scalability, and security.
- Oversee network design, architecture reviews, and related project plans.
- Collaborate across IT to maintain alignment and partnership.
- Work with vendors to shape strategy, evaluate solutions, and review contracts.
- Provide escalation oversight while empowering engineers to own technical outcomes.
- Balance risk with business priorities and apply appropriate urgency to issues.
QualificationsRequired- Authorization to work in the U.S. (no future sponsorship required).
- Residing within the local region of the hiring site.
- Ability to work core U.S. Central Time business hours.
- Strong commitment to incorporating security into daily decisions and processes.
- 6+ years of relevant IT leadership experience.
- 3+ years of hands-on people leadership with responsibility for mentoring high-performing technical teams.
- Experience defining and managing IT projects and understanding product lifecycle best practices.
- Experience in strategic planning, risk/incident management, project management, and resource allocation.
Preferred- Bachelor's degree in a related technical field.
- Experience leading teams in large-scale enterprise or service provider environments.
- Strong vendor and partner management experience.
- Background managing high-availability systems focused on performance, scalability, and user experience.
- Familiarity with Agile, waterfall, or hybrid project methodologies.
- Core networking knowledge (routing/switching, firewalls, DNS/DHCP/IPAM).
- Experience with service management tools (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow).
- Basic understanding of network security principles and cloud networking.
