Job Summary The Collibra System Administrator will serve as the technical anchor for the Data Governance platform, ensuring its operational health, stability, and connectivity. While still acting as a vital link between business users and technical teams, this role focuses primarily on the "how " rather than the "what "—troubleshooting day-to-day technical issues, managing back-end configurations, and ensuring seamless data connectivity.
This role is responsible for administering the Collibra platform, including Collibra Protect, and actively supporting the Intelligent Data Experience - Access and Security (IDEAS) program from a technical perspective. You will be the primary expert for building and maintaining JDBC connections for the Data Catalog, coordinating complex issue resolution with vendor support, and partnering closely with our internal DevOps teams for infrastructure needs.

Manage technical configurations for Collibra Edge sites to ensure successful metadata ingestion and profiling.
Collaborate with data owners to troubleshoot connectivity issues between source systems and Collibra.
Vendor & DevOps Coordination
Act as the primary technical liaison with Collibra vendor support; log tickets, provide necessary diagnostic data (logs, screenshots), and drive issues to resolution.
Coordinate with internal DevOps and Infrastructure teams for platform upgrades, patches, server maintenance, and network configuration changes (firewalls, proxies).
Translate vendor IT teams.
Platform Management
Plan and coordinate technical implementations of new features, hotfixes, and major version upgrades.
Maintain technical requirements into actionable tasks for internal documentation regarding system architecture, configurations, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for troubleshooting.
Stay current on Collibra''s technical roadmap, specifically regarding changes to APIs, connectors, and infrastructure requirements.
