Summary

Title: Infrastructure Wiring Technician

Location: Hackensack, NJ

Duration: 24 Months

 

 

Low Voltage Wiring  :

Position Summary: Low Voltage Wiring Technician responsible for installing, terminating, testing, and maintaining structured cabling and low voltage systems throughout the Medical Center.

 

Requirements:

Education: High School Graduate or equivalent; technical/vocational training in low voltage or structured cabling preferred

 

Skills: Copper (Cat5e/Cat6/Cat6A) and fiber optic cabling installation, termination, and testing; cable certification testers and toners; reading floor plans and blueprints; cable labeling and documentation

 

Experience: 2 to 3 years of low voltage / structured cabling experience, healthcare or commercial setting preferred

 

Certification/License: BICSI Installer, Fiber Optic (FOA/CFOT), or manufacturer cabling certifications preferred but not mandatory
